# Regions

## Setup - Main Settings

In the **Region selection screen** the **default values** for different Regions/Countries of the world are loaded.

When selecting a Region/Country, the application will automatically load the **Taxes**, **Currencies**, most common **Payment Methods** and some additional functionalities specific to that Region/Country.

If **sales have been made previously**, some of the Region/Country parameters **will not be changed** as others have been previously entered and already have statistics.
