Sales – Sales Screen

The sales screen is divided in three separate areas:

  • Departments: By default is selected Favorites department. To access another department you must select it.

  • Items: Displays the items of the selected department.

  • Receipt data: Displays the receipt data for the current sale.

This is the departments area. Here you can view the list of all departments created that have the Visible status activated.

The first department displayed is for Favorites items. This department can contain the most used items to make sales faster without changing the current department.

If there are more departments than the displayed ones you can tap to go to the next page of departments.

Here you can view the rest of the departments you have. Tap to go back to the previous page.

This is the items area. Here you can view the items attached to the selected department with the Visible status activated.

In the Additional Parameters section the number of rows and columns of items to display can be adjusted, so the size of the buttons can change.

If there are more items than the displayed ones you can tap to go to the next page of items of this department.

Here you can view the rest of the items of this department. Tap to go back to the previous page.

If you long tap an item for 1 second some actions will appear:

  • Add to Favorites

It adds this item to the Favorites department.

  • Delete from Favorites

If this item is already included in the Favorites department, it will be deleted from that department.

  • Receipt Price Modification

You can change the preset price of this item for the current sale and add it to the receipt.

  • Receipt & Price Modification

You can change the preset price of this item in the database for the current price level and add it to the receipt. This option can be used as a quick method of changing prices.

  • Current stock/ Minimum stock

If this item has the Stock status activated, here you can view the current stock values.

You can also see the special signs and on the item buttons that indicate that the stock status is low or out of stock.

  • Show product information

Displays the information associated with the product: photograph of the dish presentation, allergens it contains, written instructions on what ingredients make up the dish and how it should be prepared, associated supplements. This information allows you to answer any questions that customers may have about any dish on the menu.

There is the option to display all items in one screen if you use only one department.

If the user has permissions, he can create new items for this department directly from the sales screen by tapping the button.

In the receipt area you can see this header, containing the current receipt’s information:

  • Current receipt number

  • Date and time of receipt creation

  • Current user picture

  • Table number or name (if it’s not a direct sale)

  • Area name

  • Customer name (if exists)

  • Current price level

On the right side you can see:

  • Total amount to pay, taxes included

  • If there is a sale discount, you can view the net amount, the discount’s amount and the discount’s description.
