You have the option to **import the information of Items, Departments and Price Levels** from an external file in **CSV format**, or import them from an external file in **EXCEL** or **SQL format**. This process **overwrites the current data**, but does not delete the database. Therefore, you can perform imports of a few records that will be added or updated in the database, but will not delete any information.

When you want to import a **CSV, EXCEL, SQL file** tap the **Browse** button to browse for the file.

When you select the file you want to import, simply tap on the **Accept** button to start the process.

To see the format of the file to be imported, we recommend that you first select **Data Export** and use the file obtained as a sample for the **Import**.

##

If you are importing an external file in **EXCEL format**, you will need to confirm if you want to delete previous data.
