# Groups

## Setup - Advanced Setup

**Groups** are used to generate **item sales reports** filtered according to the Groups and Sub-Groups we enter here.

In this screen, we will add the Groups and its Values.&#x20;

Press the <img src="/files/-M4UNre1df7-djt_z-BI" alt="" data-size="original"> button to **add a Group**. If you want to edit/delete the existing groups, double tap on them.

Here you can enter the data of the new **group**:

* ***Code:*** Here you can define the Group code. By default, the system generates a sequential code, which can be changed as long as it is unique.
* ***Name:*** Here you enter the name of the Group.

Now you have a **Group** created.

If you select a Group and slide your finger on the screen to the left, to access the group management tab, you can add Values to the selected Group using the  <img src="/files/-M4UNre1df7-djt_z-BI" alt="" data-size="original"> button.

Here you can enter the new Value data:

* ***Code:*** Here you can define the code of the Value. By default, the system generates a sequential code, which can be changed as long as it is unique.
* ***Name:*** Here you enter the name of the Value.
* ***Group***: Here you can choose the classification group.

Here you can see an example, where we have created the **Drinks** Group that has the **Hot Drinks** Value.
