It is very important to create backups often, to prevent data loss, in case the terminal breaks down or any other eventuality occurs, or also to copy the data to another terminal that should have the same configuration.
Select between Backup or Restore Backup Copy.
Backup
The first thing to do is to choose where to store the backup. Click the (image) button to find the desired path.
You can browse through the device folders to choose where to store the backup. By default, it starts navigating to the internal SD card, but you can also navigate to the external SD card or USB storage drive.
It is recommended to create a new folder where to store all the Backups. Once the folder is created, you can choose it by clicking on the SELECT button.
Now, you can confirm the process by clicking on the Accept button.
Restore Backup Copy
When you restore a Backup, all the statistics and databases of the application will be deleted. Therefore, use this process with caution.
Now you will have to navigate to the folder containing all the backups. Do not select the folder with the specific name of the backups: backup01xxxx.
You will see here all the available backups in this folder. Select the Backup you want to restore.
Backup
If you click on the Backup button the backup process will start immediately in the assigned store in FACTORYCLOUD.
Restore Backup Copy
When you restore a Backup, all statistics and databases of the application will be deleted. Therefore, use this process with caution.
You will be shown a list of the Backup Copies stored in the assigned store in FACTORYCLOUD, and you must select the one you want to Restore.
When you restore a Backup you will lose all current statistics and databases.
USB/SD: Select USB/SD if you want to work with Backups on a physical storage medium, such as the internal SD Card, external SD card or a USB Device.
