Here you can enter the data for a new payment method:

* ***Code:*** By default, the system generates a sequential code, which can be changed as long as it is unique.
* ***Name:*** Here you must enter the name of the payment method. If you have more languages for the texts, option (image) will be enabled to enter the name in these languages.
* ***Type:*** There are several types of payment methods:
* ***Cash:*** Used to collect Cash transactions. When returning change in any payment method, it is always deducted from the Cash.
* ***Check:*** Used to collect the operations by means of Check/Promissory note...
* **Card:** Used to charge transactions by credit/debit card. If a payment gateway linked to the application has been defined, when using this payment method, the collection device will be activated automatically.
* ***Pending:*** Used to finalize transactions that have been assigned to a customer in the application database and who does not pay on the spot. The amount of the debt is stored and can be paid later through the Cash Movements.
* ***Restaurant Ticket:*** In some countries it is possible to pay by means of meal coupons that can have a fixed or variable amount. Several keys could be created with prefixed amounts.
* ***Store Credit:*** There is the possibility to issue a store credit instead of cash back when goods are returned. This store credit can be used to pay for future sales.
* ***Tip:*** Allows you to record the tip received on a particular sale.
* ***Mobile payments:*** Used to collect the transactions by mobile payment.
